Daddy has gone crazy...

Mommy wants you all to know that this was not her idea - she did not ask, beg, or even suggest that this happen. It was all Daddy's idea and he took the intial steps to get the process started. What I am talking about? For Mommy's birthday, Daddy let her get a doggie! Yep, a real live doggie. And not just any doggie - a puppy. Mommy probably would have gone for an adult dog, but daddy wanted a puppy. So after much discussion and two trips to the animal shelter last weekend, our little puppy came home today. She doesn't quite have a name yet, but hopefully soon. We'll keep you updated. She is 4 months old and is very cute! I think Mommy must be a little crazy to try to housebreak a puppy, chase me around, and keep the cat from attacking! But its too late now, puppy is already home! So far all is going well, the puppy seems to like Nora and is afraid of the cat. Ajax has not had much reaction at all so far, but the puppy barks and bristles up whenever he sees the cat - this could get interesting...

My new puppy

Don't worry he's not real! Mommy got me this cool pull toy recently. I like to run around the house with him. Isn't he cute?

Also I added some new links on the side - my favorite websites and our to do list. Any other suggestions for our list?

Who would have guessed...

that I would like fish sticks? As some of you know, I am a picky eater. I like bananas, yogurt, peanut butter, and pasta and a few other things. I used to eat sweet potatoes, but now I don't even want them. So when we went to Walmart this week, Mom got us some chicken Mcnuggets to eat while we were shopping (it was right before lunch time) and I actually ate some. Mom decided to buy some fish sticks to try as well and sure enough I ate them for dinner tonight (but still did not touch my sweet potatoes or applesauce that was also served). Mom is going to try to make me some sweet potato fries tomorrow to see if I will eat those (I have had them one other time). Mommy says she welcomes any suggestions on what else to try and feed me! Here is a picture of me enjoying my fish sticks:

I am also obsessed with shoes right now! I talk about them all the time and bring them to mommy and daddy to put one me. I love to try to wear mommy and daddy's shoes too. Here I am walking around in one of mommy's shoes:

Walking at Sunset

Mommy, Daddy, and I have been going on walks in the evenings lately. I enjoy them for the most part, but they don't last very long because I get too wiggly. Mommy took these first two pictures last night on our walk.

The cactus is blooming!

This picture is of me playing with the hot pads in the kitchen. I love to empty out that drawer. I just discovered that you could put your hands in the holders! What fun!! Mommy says to please ignore anything dirty that you see...

Wheee!

It was a nice day here today so mommy took me to the park. I'm pretty sure that there will not be too many days left where we can go to the park. I had a great time. I had more fun then usual - I actually liked swinging, sliding and climbing all around on my own! Here is a video of me enjoying the swing:

Our trip to Arkansas - visiting the Sheridan family

I had a great time seeing all my family in Sheridan. Unfortunately as mentioned before, Mommy did a terrible job of taking pictures! I had a great time playing outside - it was my favorite thing to do. We also got to go to the Grant County Museum, which despite what you may think, is actually really nice and interesting. This is the final post in my series about our visit to Arkansas. Even though traveling is hard, it was totally worth it to come to Arkansas to visit all of my family. We miss you all and hope to see you soon!

Here I am playing in Mimi and Poppy's yard

Our trip to Arkansas - visiting the tulips in Hot Springs

While we were in Arkansas, Mommy and Mimi took me to Hot Springs to Garvan Woodland Gardens to see the tulips. They were mostly dying, but we got a few good pictures. I got to wear the really cute dress my grams gave me while I was in Mountain Home. I had a great time and wanted to walk the whole way, but Mommy and Mimi said I was too slow! Afterwards we went to eat at Outback and I now know not to order mac and cheese from there!
