Project Life January 15th -21st

I know it seems like I'm only posting for project life, but at least I'm posting right? Here is this weeks installment. It's missing a couple of pictures from the week that I'll try to get up later this week.



Sunday, Nora and Will enjoyed getting a horse ride from Daddy.



Monday, the kids were out of school and the weather was great! It's was 67 degrees so we got to spend some time outside.

Project Life Jan 8th - 14th

Its another week of Project Life! So far (and I know its only been a couple of weeks), I'm really enjoying this project. Remembering to take pictures on a *mostly* daily basis has been fun and its interesting to capture the little moments of our life that probably wouldn't make it to film otherwise. I really hope to be able to keep this up for the entire year.

So while I'm short a photo for this week, I added some new things to my layout. I ordered a couple of iPhone photos from PostalPix to include this week. They will be square like the instagram photos. I'm also going to add some of Nora's artwork from this week at school.


Sunday: Our cat Ajax, we've had him since he was a kitten and he's 8 years old now. This is one of his favorite places to nap on the back of the couch.


Monday: Its Nora's 4th birthday! She loves to draw and play on the iPad. Her favorite shows right now are Shaun the Sheep, Timmy Time, and Yo Gabba Gabba. She loves to listen to the book Pete the Cat on CD. Her favorite snacks are ice cream and chips and she eats chocolate sandwiches nearly every day. She is good at sharing with her little brother most of the time and is a very sweet, loving little girl.


Tuesday: This is William's "cheese" face - too cute not to include


Tuesday: William has recently decided he loves to play with trains. He asks me to play with him all the time saying "Mama Choo Choo?"


Friday: Will and Nora had fun pulling out all the gloves, hats, and winter accessories and trying them on.


Saturday: We made pancakes for breakfast. This is the ONLY meal that everyone in our house will eat.

Project Life: Jan 1st-7th

So like I said in my New Year's post, I'm trying to keep up with Project Life this year. My goal is to try to take a picture a day, but I'm taking a weekly approach to filling out the scrapbook. So as long as I have 6-7 photos for the week, I'll be happy. Some days are so boring or busy, its hard to get a good picture, other days (like Nora's party) have lots of photos. I'm linking up with The Mom Creative's Project Life Tuesday. Hopefully this will keep me motivated and posting more often. So here is my first installment for 2012:

Sunday: Welcome 2012. I love a fresh, clean calendar



Monday: we went to Maggie Moos for an ice cream treat. Nora loves the blue ice cream and Will really just wanted to drink my coke.


Tuesday: After a long break, it was back to school and back to work.


Wednesday, Started a last minute sewing project to make a dress for Nora's Birthday.


Friday: Worked on baking a 6 layer rainbow cake for Nora's Party. This is the finished product.



Saturday: Celebrated Nora's 4th birthday (a little early since her actual birthday is not until the 9th).

Nora's 4th Birthday Party!!

I turn 4 on Monday, so we had my birthday party today. I'm so glad I got to see everyone. Thanks to Mimi, Poppi, Grandma, Granddaddy, Sara, Jessica, Emily, Patrick, and Miles for coming! I had a wonderful party and loved all of my birthday gifts.

Mommy is going to try to do better this year with taking pictures. Thanks to Emily, Mommy is going to do Project Life. So this is sort of a New Year's resolution or goal for the year: to take one picture a day for the project life album (and hopefully share them on here!).

So wish Mommy luck and help remind her when you talk to her!

Merry Christmas!

We had a very good Christmas this year! Will and I loved our presents and we got to visit with all of our grandparents too! Mommy didn't do a very good job at taking pictures at either of our grandparent's houses (as in she didn't remember to take ANY pictures). But here are some from Christmas at our house:
