Meet Lucy Dog

Mom and Dad finally decided it was time for me to be a big girl and give up my pacifiers. So on Monday, Mom took me to build-a-bear and I got to pick out and make a new stuffed animal. I choose a dog (of course!). I had lots of fun putting it together and picking out pajamas for my dog. I named her Lucy. Mom and Dad have been talking to me for weeks about how I would need to give my pacifiers (or mi's as I call them) to baby animals and I would get a new stuffed animal to sleep with. I don't think any of this really hit me until I went to bed Monday. I had quite a fit but eventually did go to sleep. Last night went much better, and I only cried for a little while before going to sleep. I do keep asking Mom and Dad about my pacifiers though. I keep thinking they threw them in the garbage, although Mom keeps telling me they wen to baby animals that need them.

I also had my first outing in panties! Mom and Dad took me to dinner and the grocery store without a diaper!! I even went potty at the restaurant. I really am becoming a big girl.

Will is walking like a pro now!

So this is a little late in posting, but for the past couple of weeks, Will has just taken off with his walking. He walks around the house all the time and it doing great at it! He's now 10 months old and I only can imagine that by his first birthday he'll be running!

We had some great weather last week and this weekend. A very welcome change from the 18 inches of snow and -17 degree temperatures! We got to spend a little time enjoying the outdoors. We are all ready for spring! Here are a few action shots of me and Will:

Crazy Snow

So I know most of you that read this also got quite a bit of snow today, but it was (and is) totally crazy here! This morning Dad got up to see if it snowed so he could decide whether to go to work today and looked outside - we had gotten 9 inches overnight.

It kept snowing all day and finally tapered off around 3:00. In total we got 18 inches of snow at our house. I don't think any of us have ever seen this much snow. It is crazy! The pictures don't quite do it justice of how much snow there actually is.

And its snowing here again! At 7:00 a.m. we had 9 inches in the backyard. At 9:00 we were up to 16 inches and its still snowing. Stay tuned for more snow pictures.
