Final Countdown

Tomorrow morning, Mommy and Daddy head to the hospital to have baby brother! We can't believe its already time but are very excited to meet him!



We'll get all the information up in a few days once we get home (it will probably be on facebook earlier though). Wish us luck!!

Stuffed Animal Picnic

Today I decided I wanted to have a picnic with Mom and all my stuffed animals. I made Mom help me spread out my blanket and set my animals all around. I went and got some of my play food and even some real food (juice boxes and crackers) all by myself so we could have a picnic.



Luna decided to join in too!

Suprise Baby Shower and Pedicures

Last week, the MOMS Club gave mom a surprise baby shower! She was not expecting this as all so they definitely surprised her. It was very nice and baby brother got lots of new clothes!





Sunday, Mom used her gift cards (that she has had since Christmas) and went a got a pedicure at the spa! I was quite impressed with her pink toes so Mom bought me some pink nail polish and painted mine too! Please excuse the dirty floor...



And we are now just under 2 weeks away from baby brother's arrival! We are slowly starting to get everything ready. Very Exciting!!

Luna's back!

Early Wednesday morning, Mommy got a call from a nice lady saying that Luna was walking down the middle of the street. Mommy jumped in the car in pajamas and all and went to go see if it was really her. Sure enough, there was Luna walking down the middle of the road - just about 4-5 roads over from our house! We were all very glad to have Luna back! She went to the "doggie spa" on Thursday to get a bath - 3 days of living on the street and she was quite stinky.



This morning we went to Cracker Barrel (mom's favorite) for breakfast. It was pretty yummy but the best part was sitting in the rocking chairs outside. I love the little kid rocking chairs! Mommy and Daddy need to get me one - I didn't want to leave!

What an Easter!

So our Easter started out pretty normal. I woke up and got some candy from the Easter Bunny and proceeded to pig out on chocolate! Mommy dressed me in my pretty Easter dress and we played with some eggs. I still don't really get the looking for Easter eggs concept.





It was after I woke up from my nap that the day got interesting...

Around 3:40 p.m. I was in the kitchen with Daddy cutting up fresh pineapple when all of a sudden the house started shaking! Mommy said we were having another earthquake (this is the second we have felt since living here). This earthquake was WAY worse than the other one! The house shook and shook and you could feel the ground rolling under your feet. Mommy picked me up and we stood in the doorway to the pantry until it ended. There were a few more aftershocks after this too. Nothing fell or was damaged at all at our house but it was pretty scary! The quake was a 7.2 (the Haiti quake was a 7.0) at the epicenter which was about 60-70 miles from here so it was actually a pretty big earthquake!

After the quake, Mommy went to check on our dog, Luna, who was outside at the time. But when Mom opened the door and called for her she wasn't there! We could see where she had been able to get out under the gate. We have no idea how long she had been gone. Mommy, Daddy, and I searched the neighborhood for her and asked everyone we saw if they had seen her. But no luck! Mommy put signs up around the neighborhood hoping that someone will find her. We are all very sad that Luna is lost and we miss her very much!

So that was our Easter - hopefully yours went a little better.

Getting Ready for Baby Brother

Mommy is 34 weeks pregnant today with baby brother! That means that he will be here in 5 weeks (or less)! We can't believe it!! We are slowly starting to get our house ready. Before you ask, yes baby brother does have a first name - William, but we have yet to settle on a middle name. Maybe mommy will make a post/poll about that soon (suggestions welcome).

Baby brother and I will be sharing a room so Mom and Dad rearranged the room and added his crib to my room. He will actually be sleeping in Mom and Dad's room for the first few months.



Baby brother also has a drawer full of clothes (these are just the newborn and 0-3 months sized)- some bought by Mommy, bought by grandmothers, given and gifts and donated by friends (thanks Alisa!). There are even more clothes on the way! Mommy says he still doesn't have as many as I did!



Here is his new carseat for when he gets a bit older. For the first few months he will use my old baby carseat but this one is ready for him when he gets too heavy!



Daddy's work gave them a little shower so they got several boxes of diapers and wipes!



Mommy also has her secret stash of "hippie" cloth diapers! She is slowly getting these (don't tell Daddy - haha) to use instead of regular diapers! I know you think she's crazy (and she is a little) but they are way cuter and better for the environment! This is just the start, there are more on the way.
