Let me first say that mommy did a TERRIBLE job taking pictures, as in she carried her camera around and never used it! So sorry Grams, Gramps, Emily, and Miles! Mommy promises that next time she will do better. I am very glad to have gotten to visit you all again! I had a lot of fun playing with my cousin Miles and his toys. It was great to see my grandparents and I warmed up to them very fast. It was a short visit, but next time we will stay longer. Here are a couple of pictures of me playing with the last of the daffodils in Gram's yard:

Our trip to Arkansas - visiting our friends and 15 mos check up
This will be a bit of a double post. First here is part II of our trip to Arkansas.
Mommy and I got to visit our friends Candice and Alisa and their kids: Alyssa Kate, Caroline, Greyson, and Griffin. We went to the zoo and out to eat. That was fun but eating out with 5 kids under 4 is very interesting! As you can see in this picture Griffin did not want to have his picture taken and all of us kids are looking at him trying to figure out what is going on!
Today I had my 15th month check up and I hated it and screamed everytime they touched me! I weighted 20.8 lbs and was 31.5 inches long. I am doing everything just right. The doctor asked if I could point to my body parts and I know where my belly button and nose are. She also asked if I used any words and I use around 10. The doc said that was very good. I can say: mama, daddy, kitty, ball, bye-bye, milk, more (and in sign language), pattycake (I just say cake), and I can meow, woof, and moo. There may be some others but that is all I can remember right now.

Our trip to Arkansas - the big plane ride!
This will be the first in a series of posts about our trip to Arkansas. We have very much enjoyed seeing our family and friends! This post is all about our plane ride to Arkansas. I was a very good girl on the trip and only whined while mom had to hold me while boarding the plane. I slept the almost the whole ride from Phoenix to Dallas and mom read to me and kept me entertained while flying from Dallas to Little Rock. Mom was able to find all the play areas at the airport to keep me entertained while in the airport. The hardest part was finding something I would eat. Airports do not have food for babies! I ate a part of a yogurt parfait in Phoenix and some of mom's chips and in Dallas I ate an entire slice of Sbarro cheese pizza!

Playing in the Park
Mommy took me to the park last week. This time we went to this really cool park with a neat playground and even a pond! It was so much fun - I hope we get to go back this week.
The West Wetlands Park

I'm not sure about walking across this bridge...
I can drink out of a straw now!
How cute am I in my sunglasses?

My new stuffed kitty - he looks just like Ajax!
I also got a new HUGE red ball! I love it and run around the house with it saying "ball."

When Daddy is away...
the girls will play! Daddy was gone all weekend to a conference in Denver. So it was just me and mom all weekend. We missed Daddy but we also had lots of fun! It was in the 90s all weekend here so we got to wear shorts! We went shopping of course; isn't that what girls are supposed to do? Mommy bought me some toddler crayons, but I still don't quite understand them yet. I'm more interested in eating the crayons then drawing with them.
We also built a fort behind the couch. It was fun to go hide in there!
